Blag does two things: it writes you an excuse, and it tells you what a message really means and how you might reply.

The excuses are meant to be jokes

Drag the slider up and they stop being believable on purpose. Everything Blag writes is generated by an AI model and is for entertainment. Read it before you send it. Do not use it for anything that matters — medical, legal, financial or otherwise.

The third reply is not for sending

Every translation gives you three drafts. The last one is labelled do not actually send this, and we mean it.

Free limits and subscription

Free use is capped per day. A subscription lifts the cap and unlocks screenshot input. It is billed by Apple and renews until you cancel it in your iPhone's Settings under your Apple ID. Restoring on a new device just needs the same Apple ID — there is no account to recover.

Something is wrong

• "Can't reach the server" — check your connection, then try again in a minute.
• Ran out of goes — the free allowance resets the next day.
• The reply came back empty — the model occasionally refuses. Rephrase and try again.
